Handsome frogs Artisan bread is absolutely delicious. I love the fact that they do affordable half sizes. Beautiful fern imprint on the side of the bread. The excellent value, huge pizza slice I had was fantastic too, the base of the pizza was the best I've had, the topping was just right too. I don't live in Whangarei but will definitely be back!

This place has a great location and cosy vibe but if you’re looking for cost effective compared to the product it won’t be suitable. I ordered a mince and cheese and steak and cheese pie and 2x iced chocolates (not blended) and it came to over $37 not including the 2% payWave surcharge. So that means the pies which didn’t have an obvious price label would have been around $10.20 and they weren’t exceptional versus other establishments.

New to Whangarei I stumbled across this cool café. Great chai latte, but the clincher for me is the amazing warm cheese scones. Plenty of choice specialty breads, pastries and vegetarian options. Also if on the hunt for a sandwich with fillings like ham and mustard etc they have them, so tasty. Can't wait to try a pizza evening soon.
